Other news:
HM will be named one of "The Top 100 Unsigned Artists" by "Music Connection Magazine" for the second year in a row. The year-end issue should be out next week sometime, otherwise, you can click on this link - http://musicconnection.com/digital/ - to see the digital version. This is a major trade publication for the music industry, so hopefully it leads to more label interest.
HM will be holing up for a few months thereafter to write new material, work on a new EP/LP and we'll be trying to make some new connections behind the scenes in the industry.
Hope to see you at least one more time before the end of the year. Thanks, as always, for your support.

Label Showcase at Bottom Lounge Friday, July 31st!!
HM may be graduating to the "next level" after July 31st. We've had some promising conversations/offers from a label and a couple other folks behind the scenes, and they will be in attendance on July 31st at Bottom Lounge.
As a result, we need to show them the enthusiastic following we have here in Chicago. For those of you who don't have the record yet, visit our myspace, learn the words, get really drunk and sing along! We want to have a rowdy, packed house for the event.
Our friend, Dan McPherrin, has reserved the rooftop deck from 9:30PM-11:00PM so you can get loaded outside and enjoy the good Chicago summer night weather (hopefully) before we go on.
We'll be debuting some brand new tunes, and some of us may be trying some new instruments out.....hopefully, afterwards, you can say you were at the show where HM was signed.
Here are the details:

Summerfest!
HM has a few great shows this summer at some of the better-known outdoor fests. Probably the biggest crowd will be at Summerfest in Milwaukee on July 2nd where we will be sharing the stage with Shiny Toy Guns, a huge alternative band (in case you didn't know) that has appeared on every late night talk show, also set to tour with the all American Rejects this summer. HM is on at 4:15 on the U.S. Cellular Emerging Artist Stage...from what I remember, this is a huge stage with plenty of room to run around, so we are looking forward to putting on a great show.
HM is also honored to be selected as one of 40-some bands out of hundreds to compete for a spot on the Summerfest Compilation cd. The fest will distribute 10,000 copies for free so it would be great exposure for us if we can get on...key is though, WE NEED YOU TO VOTE every day, once a day until the start of the festival so we can make it on!!
For those of you not around Milwaukee, or not making the trip up, we will also be playing the Belmont Arts and Music Fest on June 21st w/ good friends, the Lovehammers and also at Taste of Chicago on June 26th with great up-and-coming band Empires. Details for these shows as well as Summerfest are as follows:
